They have carte blanche to be venal hypocrites. Their donors want the govt dismantled. Best way to do so is to perpetuate dysfunction. Kakistocracy erodes everyone’s trust in govt. Why bother voting? “They’re all useless.They’re all the same” voters will reason.
MGT, Comer, Santos, Gaetz, Johnson, Jordan are tools, in every sense. Menendez is just a happy accident. GOP donors know avg voter is unable to differentiate garden variety corruption from uselessness of GOP.
