There’re more reports of neglect, #abuse, & at least one death at the #ICE det cen in Miami. A video’s gone viral: shows ppl sleeping on the floor, & a man pleads for help, says there’s little food. A man that was deported to MX said he was detained there for days with no water, & sleeping outside -no AC, everybody is sick, God knows what they have, no MED attention or privileges to a bathroom.

@KimPerales I wonder if this facility is federally owned and run or if it is part of our outsourced detention system.
@markstoneman It’s run by Geo Group, the company donated ~$750,000 to Trump last year.
@KimPerales As horrible trump is, let's not pretend that immigration detention was better under other presidents. It wasn't.
@ang6666 I’m not claiming it was good. But it’s much worse under Trump, & he just removed the people in DHS who provide ICE detention oversight.
