The oligarchs have impunity, but everyone else has to pay their taxes. The agency will no longer provide adequate service, & dedicated employees are fired, needlessly.
@KimPerales I think it maybe time for me to start classes on How To File Taxes Like A Corporation. Because I can get my tax rate to zero....and then I add stuff back in until I get to unlikely to audit range. But hell, if audits are a thing of the past, and they aren’t looking at corporate filings....

@KimPerales The most aggravating thing is that some of these workers were auditing cheaters, and the amount of money they bring into the government is about 2.5x what it costs to run that team.
If they wanted to save money and reduce fraud, they would be increasing the size of that team, not reducing it.
@KimPerales I have a feeling DOGE is just a diversion. Even still, it is so awesome hearing IRS agents losing their jobs. I hope they starve.
