@Teri_Kanefield Has anyone said how Habba came to be the person who signed that affidavit? Why didn’t Corcoran sign his own affidavit with CYA language?

@LGsMom @Teri_Kanefield

This Guardian article provides as much explanation as I’ve seen. It was Christina Bobb who signed the affidavit as trump’s “custodian of records” which she wasn’t—I recall Kash Patel was one of trump’s designated custodians. Ms Bobb was alert enough to the disclaimer that she hadn’t personally conducted the search.

The Guardian · Trump lawyer told to certify Mar-a-Lago document search she did not conductBy Hugo Lowell

@bronakins @Teri_Kanefield Yes, that is accurate but my question is WHY didn’t Corcoran sign his own affidavit? I think I know and it’s bc he could not, in good conscience, sign under oath that he believed the search was full and complete. But then, Habba must have had a convo with him about signing it. She added that cya language which tells me she at least suspected that the search was inadequate. And I want to know what they discussed.

Welp, I’d guess the trump stolen documents grand jury knows for sure why Corcoran ordered another lawyer to give the search affidavit.
Bobb testified (smart lady) and Corcoran was ordered to produce his notes & testify; we’ll get the story when trump is charged.
