Questlove is launching his own book imprint, AUWA Books (the name is a tribute to Prince). First up is a book by Sly Stone in October. Questlove's 'Hip Hop is History' will be published in 2024. Non-music titles will be published as well. Questlove is also executive producing a doc on the late, great JDilla, following the massive success of Summer of Soul. Is it #BlackFriday yet?

Been watching this performance all week--#DeLaSoul killing it with the legendary #Roots. #Questlove alone is #hiphop royalty. Producer, author, drummer, dj, filmmaker, musician & music historian. His life was changed by De La Soul and #JDilla so you know this performance means something to him. Original founder #Trugoythedove passed last month, which adds another dimension. Check the comments on YouTube: many people are watching this with tears in their eyes. Tears of joy, too.
@WilliamRobert I remember going to SummerStage in Central Park in 2005 to see The Roots, De La Soul, MF Doom and Mos Def. It was unreal.
