I'm continually looking for ways to improve SM experiences for multidisciplinary artists and advocates whose message is lost to the vast sea of 'alternative' misinformation. Mastodon is unique and provides the least amount of interference from outside parties and individuals. Yet it's not perfect. A work in progress, which is okay! Lots of friendly helpful people here. Over the last year I've been studying and adapting Mastodon to fit my unique SM needs as a parent and a writer who does not have a 'tech' background. Lately I've been trying to maximize the communication space in each post. The alternative text section provides an enormous amount of character space in order to provide additional context information. Not only does it assist those with visual deficiencies, but it also provides a way to enhance communication.
