Small bit of advice: those telling you something is a “distraction” are often projecting their own limited understanding of the bigger picture onto what they see. This Canada stuff is real; but look at it in terms of effects, not necessarily 100% literally.
@davetroy
Yes, there may be an underlying direct purpose for making Canada, Denmark, and Panama upset with the USA, but I do think that it is intended as a distraction to deflect Americans' attention from looking to hard at the transition process, his nominees, campaign financing, and legal issues too.
@davetroy now that Trump has taken the presidency, he wants to become the biggest bully on the block. Narcissists generally try to get whatever they want regardless of others, unless they are stopped. It may sound ridiculous, but I wouldn’t put it past him to try anything at all. Considering almost half of the country voted for him, don’t be surprised if he succeeds, whatever the consequences.
His definition of success and acceptance is dark.

@davetroy musk needs Uranium for his Mars wet dream...we ascribe much of this as coming from trump himself at our peril, it seems.
@davetroy It's also about interfering with the Canadian elections. Trump and Stephen Harper are in cahoots. And Poilievre is very much Harper's creation.
