The Chi and Mun River are the two largest #rivers within #Isaan or Northeastern Thailand. The Mun-Chi river basin is the highlighted region in the map below, and I added a rough outline of our province. The flow of waterways in Isaan south of the Mun River is generally to the north and northeast. The Chi River empties into the Mun at the extreme northeast of Sisaket Province, and from there the Mun runs to the border of #Thailand & #Laos where it empties into the #Mekong.
