As Marcy Wheeler notes, the Global Threats Report presented to the Senate and House Intelligence Committees last week predicts that Russia will “try to strengthen ties to U.S. persons in the media and politics in hopes of developing vectors for future influence operations.”

Wheeler thinks this statement deserves more attention than it’s getting. She points to Tucker Carlson as she says that.

@wdlindsy Duh. See Tucker and the whole Christian Nationalist, Putin-Power-worshipping Circle jerk. A fresh Put-kakke session leaves them all goo-faced whenever he wields his unchecked authority against the same out groups that the Right loathes in the US.

They loathe everyone that is NOT a white, Christian, CIS-male. They also loathe white, Christian, CIS males who are in a union, or who got caught expressing their repressed pedophilia/homosexuality, or who vote for Democrats.
