I'm not content with the fact that both toad.social and Facebook removed, in a single day, a posting I made a few days back excerpting valuable commentary on the situation in Israel by Peter Beinart. This tells me that someone or someones are busy monitoring social media feed now and trying to get viewpoints they do not want heard censored and silenced.
Here's more valuable commentary from Beinart.

And here's yet more valuable recent commentary from Peter Beinart, who offers a humane, religiously grounded perspective on what's happening in Israel and with the Palestinians today that I believe sorely needs to be heard — not censored.
@wdlindsy@toad.social That's a really great article.
@miklo Thank you. I have emended my posting to make it more accurate, after a number of people told me the same.
@wdlindsy Moderation on Mastodon is per-instance. If the moderators of your instance are removing posts you (and I) feel they shouldn’t, one thing to consider is moving to an instance with better/more transparent moderation. You can also engage with the admin on your instance to see if you can reach agreement on what you should be allowed to post. You can find info on the leadership and rules for your instance by clicking on "About" next to "toad.social" on the front page.
@dgoldsmith Thank you. I appreciate the advice and guidance. I'm still very much a novice at using and understanding this federated system. I've emended my posting to state that it was toad.social that removed my posting(s).
@wdlindsy "those emotions did not serve America well” is an understatement
@peterbutler It is, indeed, isn't it?
