@stevenbodzin You're responding to Ali's critique of Woodward, if I'm understanding you correctly? I'm not really inclined to give Woodward a pass. In my view, the media have made themselves a big punching bag precisely by behavior like Woodward's — self-serving behavior that leads media gurus to withhold important information as democracy is assaulted. I think there's a very good reason many folks are tiriing of this behavior on the part of big-name media gurus.
