"n response to Hegseth texting classified information (which could’ve endangered the lives of American military personnel), Vice President J.D. Vance responded, 'I will say a prayer for victory.' Two people responded with an emoji often described as prayer hands."
~ Brian Kaylor
One might qualify the phrase, "Vice President J.D. Vance," by prefacing it with the word "Catholic," a title Vance wears proundly.

"The plan Vance offered a prayer for included striking a residential apartment because one militant was believed to be visiting his girlfriend there. Reports estimate that at least 31 civilians — including children — were killed in the attacks. Such a deliberate targeting of a residential building would be a war crime under international law."
@wdlindsy and Catholics should be appalled and disgusted. Isnt murder a mortal sin?
@geonz I very much agree. Pro-life obviously means quite the opposite, in the mouths of many Christian "pro-lifers."
@wdlindsy Risking to be seen as a nitpicker: "would be"???
@wdlindsy Vance and all of the boodthirsty christo-fascists have a Crusader mentality. To them, people who were in that building were not really people at all, but nameless "infidels" whose deaths don't matter.
@wdlindsy one of those unlikely fantasies it's nonetheless nice to entertain is that, in the event that they're swept out of office somehow, in a sign of both a radical reset and just malice, the next government signs the US up to the ICC.
@wdlindsy White Christian Nationalism has been/is/will be the death of us all.
@wdlindsy I wonder if the Pope could excommunicate him.
