As Judd Legum notes, having admitted that it made an "administrative" mistake in deporting Abrego Garcia, the Trump administration is now doubling down and claiming there's evidence he's a gang member — when no such evidence exists:

They literally just don't fucking care about any of us.
To them, we aren't even people, just marks, to be conned and milked, for everything we have. And when they have taken everything, they kick you to the curb.
And it's done with such a level of disdain, our deaths have, to them, no more importance than the death of a cockroach.
