John Harwood characterizes Tom Homan, Trump's border czar, as the face of Trump’s cruelty, and says,
"Trump's 'border czar' has 'no moral line,' say his critics, and the man himself proudly brags that he doesn't care about judges, the rule of law, or even the Pope."
Homan, who describes himself as a "lifelong Catholic" and "devout Mass-goer," has told Pope Francis to mind his business and stick to religion — to butt out of Holman's business with immigrants.
Trump's media guru Karoline Leavitt, who lied boldly about disappearing of immigrants this week, is another lifelong Catholic schooled from grade school through college in Catholic schools. She describes herself as an ardently "pro-life" Catholic.
