After noticing that people have been posting about #3GoodThings on mastodon, I decided to take the plunge myself to see if I can maintain the practice in an effort to help me focus on the positives things in my life. Not sure how frequently I'll do it yet, but I plan on doing it regularly for at least 30 days

For reference, here's a great primer on the positive effects of posting 3gt:

Natalie Rossiter Wellbeing3GT - the positive psychology practice everyone should know. — Natalie Rossiter WellbeingThe 3 Good Things practice is something a lot of therapists, counsellors and coaches harp on about, and with good reason.

day 13: that is yellow

Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion I from 1991
I bought the cassette in the 90s and I remember I got 'blasted' by its loudness when first putting it in my portable radio cassette. I had to keep it at minimal volume! it was my first steps in 'hard rock/metal/...' music :)

I don't really listen to it now, I prefer Appetite for Destruction (more raw/punk) but UYI is still filled with great songs.

day 12: with water on it

Mogwai - Hardcore will never die, but you will.
An awesome #postrock #instrumental #rock by an essential band if you're interested in post-rock.
I'm a big fan of their early work (Come on die young, Rock Action), but not that much of following albums, I find those less 'energyful', too slow and a little bit boring.
But this release from 2011 is great and I really enjoy listening to it.
