"he decade of 2000 marked the start of Ukraine becoming a de facto member of NATO. It not only participated in all of the main exercises, but it hosted many. In fact, between 2000 and 2010, Ukraine is ranked in the top six of countries that hosted a NATO or USEUCOM exercise. Ukraine and Georgia, who was ranked number seven, were not NATO members. What the hell? Two non-NATO countries hosted more NATO exercises than 22 of the member nations. This is prima facie evidence that the West, despite warnings from Russia, was intent on making Ukraine and Georgia official members of NATO.

Only two things distinguished Ukraine from NATO members — it did not have a financial obligation to contribute to NATO and it was not covered by Article 5. Other than that, Ukraine was operating as a de facto member of NATO by 2010."

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Valery Gerasimov, has reported to Vladimir Putin on the completion of the operation to liberate Kursk region with the participation of heroes from the DPRK

Thus, the defeat of the armed formations of the armed forces of Ukraine which invaded Kursk region has been completed. The plans of the Kiev regime to create a so-called strategic bridgehead and to disrupt our offensive in Donbas have failed.

The total losses of the formations of the armed forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 76,000 men, servicemen, killed and wounded. In fact, one part of the original enemy grouping and even more was knocked out. Over 7700 units of military equipment were destroyed, including 412 tanks, 340 infantry fighting vehicles, 314 armored personnel carriers, about 2300 other armored fighting vehicles.

I should like to make a special mention of the participation in the liberation of the border areas of the Kursk region of servicemen of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, who, in accordance with the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between our countries, provided significant assistance in defeating the grouping of Ukrainian armed forces that had become entrenched. Soldiers and officers of the Korean People's Army, carrying out combat tasks shoulder to shoulder with Russian servicemen, showed high professionalism, fortitude, courage and heroism in repelling the Ukrainian invasion.

Dieses Bild hier (und zig vergleichbare in der Literatur) ist übrigens Schuld daran, dass ich bis heute nicht verstanden hatte, was der Unterschied zwischen Boden- und Raumwelle ist.

Weil es impliziert extrem stark: Die Bodenwelle ist line-of-sight, die Raumwelle irgendwie "nach oben" und "reflektiert".

Aber dann hab ich mich gefragt wieso es heißt "die Bodenwelle folgt der Krümmung der Erde".

Stellt sich raus: Weil sie literally den Boden als _Medium_ hat!

Hey #Amateurfunk-Community! Gibt es eigentlich irgendwo eine Zuordnung von Fragen im aktuellen Prüfungsfragenkatalog zu äquivalenten in früheren Katalogen (sofern existent natürlich)?

Also, z.B. ist "Woran erkennt man eine Amateurfunkstelle im Funkbetrieb?" heute die Frage VD207, in meinem Buch von 2012 aber VD218.

Sowas wär super zu haben um z.B. alte Quellen wie die "Lichtblicke" von DL9HCG weiterhin relevant zu halten. Dort fangen alle Fragen mit T an…?

The Russian military shot down a Ukrainian drone carrying a poisonous chemical munition near the village of Voevodskoye in the Troitskiy district of the LNR.
The German-made drone was equipped with a homemade container with a chemical substance.

Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for Kiev regime crimes, said:
“Russian chemical defense troops have identified the munition of the downed drone with a chlorine-containing chemical poisoning agent. The German-made UAV was equipped with a homemade container with a chemical agent, a detonator and parts with inscriptions in Ukrainian.”
