@jessiegender Despite its length, I highly recommend this video , whether you have watched #Andor and its prequel #RogueOne, or not. Eventhough there are a lot of spoilers, it will actually help you understand a lot of subtilities that might not appear immediately when you're taken by the first degree of the storytelling.
The video is divided in chapters, so you can go one after the other and give yourself the time to digest it. Because this is the stuff of a whole book, actually.

@jessiegender also highlights how #Andor deviates from the usual #StarWars #narration by emphasizing the role of regular people and that of #commoninterest building, how #altruism is key for true #solidarity and how #rebellions and #revolution are made by everyday people, not by mystical figures chosen by a #destiny. She also underlines how the series fails with respect to some deeper Western trope of colonialism and heterosexism, with the paths attributed to women, poc and queer people.

This is yet another excellent analysis by #JessieGender of probably one of the best TV series as of late. The video is very long, but for good reasons! She goes quite into details about not only the #storytelling, but also about the #visual art of it, the #music, the #acting, the #casting, and how it wowes quite an insightful historical and sociological description of how a #republic becomes a #dictatorship.
