Every time a stakeholder asks for more information rather than decide. They're increasing waste and still spending money. The time and effort taken to gather the information is waste. In the absence of a decision, the team will still build something. Too bad it wasn't the highest value.

This list of "misuse(s) of agile" looks spot on to me. There is no discussion of story points or similar in it, but I'm sure a lot of haters of "agile" could easily trace some of their observed bullshit back to these anti-patterns.

In software development, isn’t that #AntiPatterns?
@danilo framing #AI as #PatternSynthesis made me think of #AntiPatterns and how they never really go away or get solved and that might be where #Innovation lies underneath the #AIhype
Bezos is on record saying he gets asked all the time “what will change the most in 10 years?” that almost no one ever asks “What won’t change in 10 years?”, and the latter is more important.
Hypothesis: In the age of Augmented Pattern Synthesis, the opportunity to innovate is in anti-patterns.

Language as well as design contributes to the (designed in?) confusing nature of #CookieBanners.
How is a "normal person" expected to navigate and actually consent to a load of things they are unlikely to understand?
80-something% of cookie banners analysed are "illegal" in some way or another.
I think "pop up a modal expladvertising the app's new feature when the user starts it" needs to be seen as a #BadUXDesign pattern or anti-pattern. It's annoying AF, and too many apps have done it to me recently.
If you can't find any way to avoid this thing, at least put in a link that lets me learn about it *later*, not just "learn more right now" (when I opened the app to perform some other task) or "forget about it forever" options.
