Not sure I will be able to resist getting the latest #apple #macos #tahoe on day1... I know better than to patch so soon, but I think I'll test it out first on the #macminim4pro before pushing it to the rest of the machines.
Anyone on #tahoe already?
Oh great, now I’m thinking about getting a new MacBook to replace this six year old MaBook Pro that will no longer get updates. I was really looking forward to macOS 26 because VoiceOver is supposedly going to work better with Google Docs and Drive which I use for work. I use Windows for all that, but I do want to see how much I can get out of a modern Mac. Then again, VoiceOver is still VoiceOver, no matter what chip it's running on. So I might just be as disappointed as ever.
Surprisingly, this MacBook held up well, much better than any of my Windows laptops. But like, if anyone has an M1 or greater MacBook they don’t want, preferably with more than 8 GB RAM for a Windows VM, I’d happily take it.

Ich würde gerne komplett von Google und iCloud zu #Nextcloud umziehen – auch bei den Kontakten.
Aber: In iOS kann man Nextcloud-Kontakte offenbar nicht als Standardaccount festlegen. 
Nextcloud via #CardDAV wird zwar eingebunden, aber nicht als Standard anerkannt.
Stimmt das wirklich – oder kennt jemand einen Workaround?

Well crap y’all, my MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports won’t get MacOS 26.
Plot twist worthy of a tech thriller: Stolen iPhones became the most honest witnesses at their own crime scene, loudly announcing "WE'VE BEEN STOLEN!" while broadcasting GPS coordinates to police. Even Siri couldn't have scripted this level of self-incriminating evidence!
