Throwing this out to the Fediverse...

My organization is having an event in April and we want to have a "Name That Tune" type game as entertainment at the awards banquet. We'd like to run it ourselves rather than bring in an outside vendor. Can anyone recommend a way of doing it? I've spotted buzzers we can use but we need a way of working the actual game.

Any ideas? Recommendations?

Calling old Mac and Apple geeks — wasn’t there a Steve Jobs quote about one of the early computers, and he said it was “good enough to criticize” or something like that, meaning that some things are so poorly thought out that you might as well not even bother. But something that has good design in it is worth critiquing in order to make better or something.

Been searching for it but the results (or my search terms) elude me.

UPDATE: It was Alan Kay! Thanks @dave_rogers! #quote #askingForHelp

🌟 New Blog Alert! 🌟

Hey Mastodon community!

I am excited to share my latest blog on the "Help Funnel" - a guide designed for those who struggle to ask for help. This tool aims to make the process of asking for and giving assistance more streamlined and less overwhelming.

Big thanks to @blackgirlbytes and Anthony D. Mays for their amazing feedback and edits, which have significantly improved the post. 🙏
