scy<p>TIL that for very flexible minimal-latency Input/Output routing of <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/audio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>audio</span></a> signals, buying a (analog or digital) <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/mixer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mixer</span></a> with multiple buses seems like the obvious choice, but there are also (USB) audio interfaces which support internal routing! For example <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Arturia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Arturia</span></a>’s <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/AudioFuse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AudioFuse</span></a> line, or the <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/RME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RME</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Fireface" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fireface</span></a> UCX. Once configured, they can even run without a computer. Some even have internal EQ & FX.</p><p>Now, is there one with internal <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/sidechain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sidechain</span></a> compression? I’d _love_ that. Any suggestions?</p>
