I'm a little bit excited. An album I mastered like 2 months ago or so finally got pressed on CD and my friend is sending me 2 copies.

It's always so rewarding to see your work "published." So fulfilling.

I know there are a lot of factors like lufs but what instances would you want true peak to cap at -2db? I've always been under the impression that you want it as close to 0 as possible while still sounding good (-1 db for streaming)

What am I missing I see a lot artist sending me stuff that feels to quiet
