This is the first time I’ve been able to actually get a clear shot of a Sedge Warbler. It is easy to identify from its song, but it usually keeps hidden in the undergrowth. This is an Orange Tip, only it doesn’t have orange tips. That’s because it is the female. It has the same markings on the underwings, but only the male has the orange tips to it’s wings. The eye is just fantastic. Taken at RSPB Middleton Lakes
