One more awesome thing Bitwig does, which I alluded to but I don't think gets enough praise -- it lets you route virtual instruments and effects in all sorts of amazing ways. Basically, you can route bits and pieces of sound through other bits and pieces, which lets you craft sounds that I can't imagine getting to in any other way.

I LOVE my hardware studio, but #Bitwig is a powerhouse for creativity. I should be using it more often to at least create samples.

#LinuxAudio journey so far. I want to make #music on #Linux - it has not been an easy transitional process so far. I am now on my 4th iteration of #Ubuntu - this time with 25.04 (24.04 Studio was glitchy, 24.04.2 LTS would not install, 22.04 would not play audio from #Bitwig). Each iteration requires 2-4 hours to set up and test, but this is getting a little quicker with each cycle.

It has been challenging, but I am both stubborn and determined.

#Linux #BitwigStudio friends - I am feeling very thwarted and vexed.

Apparently there are issues with the #Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS installer that makes it crash with the WSoD on boot from USB installer.

After many hours of rebuilding installers I have now got Ubuntu 22.04 LTS installed. It takes a longer time to boot, but feels smooth and responsive to interact with - however - there's no audio options in #Bitwig - PipeWire, JACK and ALSA all show nothing.

There's system audio, just not Bitwig.🙁

Hey all,

I have a Bitwig 8-track code that I can give away. Is anyone interesded? Please privately mention me for the code + instructions.

The first person that reaches out will get it.

:boost_requested: If you are not interested, please repost so someone else can see it.

The stickers I designed for the Ottopot arrived today, they look and fit as I imagined, and I'm so happy!

To recap, this is a midi controller created by @gerotakke, with LED lights programmed by Pierrot, and my custom stickers as cherry on top to dim the lights. I feel kinda ridiculous posting about round stickers in today's world but how can I express the warm feeling of generosity and care this... controller transmits in a way?
