Generative Ambient in #Bitwig's Grid

A new video for Bitwig fans who are into generative and modular sequences. In this one, I’ll show you how to create probability-based sequences.
My goodness, I am back in Reason remastering old tracks. OMFG it is no Bitwig Studio, but it’s the DAW that I started in back in the day.
Yeah there’s a ‘Best of Synaptyx [Remastered 2025]’ coming, but it’ll be a while. I’m just figuring out the best way to do it. I’m thinking get the stems out of Reason and master in Bitwig, but it’s kind of fun exercising the old Reason muscle memories, idk, we’ll see how it shakes out.
Hey folks, in this video I’m basically showing you how to create nice melodies or melodic sequences using Iso-rhythms in Bitwig.
added some percussions, drums and leads to my tutorial patch from my video earlier. no samples and vsts used for this one. just pure #Bitwig #modular power #musodon #musicproduction
Fans of #BonkWave and users of #Bitwig please take note.
This #Buchla259 emulation is making me inordinately pleased with the performative promise of this preset. Metallic, FM, modulated tones and atonality are all a nudge of the dial or flick of a state away.
Offered as v1.5, this #BitwigStudio preset (made in v5.0) is available on my website. Please note the newer Bitwig version which was needed for newer Grid features.
Anyone out there want to try it?

#Bitwig is one of the best DAWs on the market, if you ask me, and probably the last DAW I’ll ever use. I can explore, create, and have fun while making music. You learn a lot of concepts and how to apply them in a song or track context.

I just want to show you why Bitwig Studio is such an awesome DAW and why it might be worth a closer look. You’ll also get a sense of why so many people who use #Bitwig totally love it.

One more awesome thing Bitwig does, which I alluded to but I don't think gets enough praise -- it lets you route virtual instruments and effects in all sorts of amazing ways. Basically, you can route bits and pieces of sound through other bits and pieces, which lets you craft sounds that I can't imagine getting to in any other way.
I LOVE my hardware studio, but #Bitwig is a powerhouse for creativity. I should be using it more often to at least create samples.

@arendleejessurun @dhemery If I were making music only or mostly in the box, #Bitwig would definitely be my top choice. It is extremely cool.
@arendleejessurun #Bitwig, like many DAWs, offers a nice suite of builtin instruments and other effects.
Unlike many DAWs, it offers an unique, versatile modulation system and the grid (a unique, versatile, modular construction kit with lots of useful modules).
@graves501 @d3Xt3r basic proof of concept achieved. There is sound and it was relatively easy to install #LinuxMint #Chrome and #Bitwig - thank you.
Running a sequencer with a MSEG envelope works out nice, the editing especially.

#LinuxAudio journey so far. I want to make #music on #Linux - it has not been an easy transitional process so far. I am now on my 4th iteration of #Ubuntu - this time with 25.04 (24.04 Studio was glitchy, 24.04.2 LTS would not install, 22.04 would not play audio from #Bitwig). Each iteration requires 2-4 hours to set up and test, but this is getting a little quicker with each cycle.
It has been challenging, but I am both stubborn and determined.
