Mark Wyner Won’t Comply :vm:<p>I’m a huge fan of Aesop Rock. Really good hip-hop. His early partner and primary music producer, Blockhead, makes some really delightful music on his own.</p><p>15 years ago Blockhead released a record called “The Music Scene.” It’s alright. But one track really stands out. "She" talks about Harvard students as "blockheads". </p><p>It reminded me to look up something in Jean Maillet's will. He called his son-in-law "Daniel Blockhead" and I had to be sure I remembered that correctly. </p><p>It must have been the top insult of the time.
