R.L. Dane :Debian: :OpenBSD: 🍵 :MiraLovesYou:<p>Ok, the whole time I was on <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/calyxos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CalyxOS</span></a>, I had both WiFi and <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/bluetooth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bluetooth</span></a> set to turn off automatically when not in use.</p><p>Wifi was a little bit of a pain because you have to jump into the quick toggle, but bluetooth was a huge pain, because the toggle is now hid behind a pop-up menu (thanks for the <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/darkpatterns" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DarkPatterns</span></a>, <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>google</span></a>).</p><p>Now that I've switched to <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/iod%C3%A9os" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IodéOS</span></a>, I haven't turned on the features to shut off the radios when not in use, and I'm feeling too lazy to switch that on. XD</p><p>Like, I totally get that it's broadcasting all my SSIDs to the universe while I walk around and also giving BT trackers a MAC address to track, but dang it, that new sub-menu really sucks. XD XD</p><p><a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/lazyprivacywarrior" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LazyPrivacyWarrior</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Android</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/foss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FOSS</span></a></p>
