The one I suspended had at least fifteen hashtags, poor English, and a US flag avatar. Bot accounts should be labelled as such or <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/automated" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#automated</a> at the very least.

(I know <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Elmo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Elmo</a> had been trolling me personally, so I had been taking a bit of joy in the fact that my account was irritating him, and had been reluctant to block before that.)I wonder how many of the empty Bot accounts like mine have been automatically set to follow <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Suckerberg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Suckerberg</a>. I wouldn't be shocked if they were. Those guys are all about their own egos and falsely inflating their numbers.
