Conference submission season is over! 
This year I hope to present six communications on #CADS, #PoliticalDiscourse, #CorpusLinguistics, #NLP, #GenderStudies, and #Italianistics at #AESLA2025 in Palma de Mallorca (April), #CILC2025 (May) in Salamanca, where I host a panel, and #CL2025 at Aston University, Birmingham.

Parametric #CADs let you specify constraints on the sizes, distances and angles between certain lines, which can be adjusted at any time.
After drawing the outlines of the HDMI and ETH connectors on the front face in the Sketch workbench, I wanted #FreeCAD to punch them as holes through the bracket's thickness.

Freshly published: my review of The Discursive Construction of Economic Inequality edited by Gómez-Jiménex & Toolan for the 70th issue of the Miscelánea journal.
It is an antidote for fatalism: it demonstrates that nothing is irreversible.
If discourse could evolve in the past for the worse, it could also be reshaped (for the better, for the many) in the future.

Currently reading on the International Art English lingo paper by Rule and Levine.
Anyone who frequently attends exhibitions will laugh a lot at their text, filled with gems like 'how did we end up writing in a way that sounds like inexpertly translated French?' 
I’m now a #copyeditor for J #CaDS Journal of Corpus-assisted Discourse Studies! Very happy to be part of such a great team
