Je näher der Einkauf bei Ikea kam, desto mehr zweifelten @flyingtomoon und ich, ob die geplanten Anschaffungen in ein Lastenrad passen würden.

Aber, through the magic of renting two of them, gar kein Problem.

We're moving to a temporary flat about 150m from our current place, so I decided to move most of the boxes myself in the evenings. The child seats make it impossible to have multiple boxes at the base, so the best option is a triple decker.

We've been clearing our garage, which still had old carpet on the floor and cabinets left by the previous owners. Today, @jhembrow and I took some of this stuff to the dump, a 10 km round trip by bike. We managed to carry 140 kg of stuff between us in our trailers, which is nearly half our 300 kg yearly allowance for free of charge dumping.

A few days ago I took another 50 kg. So we don't actually have much of the allowance left.

Das logistische Dilemma, dass ich kein Fahrrad habe, um mein Fahrrad von der Werkstatt abzuholen.
Würde auch wenig bringen, weil ich dann mit dem Rad wieder losmüsste um das Zweitrad zu holen

(Was hier los wäre, wenn ich über die berüchtigte Dorstener Strasse mit zwei Rädern zur #carryShitOlympics antreten würde, will ich mir nicht ausmalen.)

Für die Kita heute einen Rasenmäher gekauft.

IKEA und im Anschluss Zeugs aus der Packstation holen ist kein Problem. Nur: Man braucht wirklich lange. Warum? Weil man total oft auf das Rad angesprochen wird und erklären muss.

Ich verstehe #Carryshitolympics ja so, dass es darum geht zu zeigen was geht, aber auch was man wie machen kann.

#Grünschnitt weggebracht mit Longtail und Hänger. Das praktische ist die graue Wurst. Eine Abdeckung für Motorräder - die kann wie eine große Tasche verwendet werden. Bequem zu befüllen mit dem ganzen Bums aus dem Garten.

Zum Freitagnachmittag noch ne Runde #carryshitolympics mit Eselmist und gleich mal ne dünne Schicht auf dem Beet verteilt, wenn es morgen evtl. eh regnen soll :)
Der Rest kommt dann mit in die Kübel und Nachbargärten.
