Folks it is only one hour until #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party. If you want to avoid it, best set up a hashtag filter.

If you'd like to join in, this week's movie is GODZILLA, MOTHRA, AND KING GHIDORA: GIANT MONSTERS ALL-OUT ATTACK (2001), a rubber monster classic. Just hit play at the top of the hour and toot along!

It's available over on Tubi: tubitv.com/movies/100039782/go

Or Archive.org has both the subtitled version: archive.org/details/eng-sub-go

Aaaand the English dub: archive.org/details/42.-godzil

Be there or be square!

Also, I deliberately chose a film session at the Capitol Theatre just so we could enjoy looking at its ceiling.

It's a survivor from a larger cinema designed by the Burley-Griffins (they of Canberra fame), which is now owned by RMIT University; so this was a rare chance to have a peek at the beautfully restored interior. It opened in 1924, in that halcyon era when Melbourne was the nation's capital before the Parliament moved to Canberra.

I took this quick pic before the session, when no one was in the cinema:
