So nice to be back especially since the season hasn't really started; little traffic and no crowds yet. Always excited to cross the Bourne Bridge on <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Saturday?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Saturday</a> but still another hour to reach <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Truro?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Truro</a> After unloading at our rental, spent the late afternoon at <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/BallstonBeach?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#BallstonBeach</a> enjoying <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/GoldenHour?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#GoldenHour</a>, that magical time when most everyone has left, the water takes on an iridescence and you're just damned happy to be there. Stopped at <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/MobyDicksSeafood?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#MobyDicksSeafood</a> for our usual first night dinner before back to the rental to chill. <br>

After an unusually comfortable sleep (the rental has a Tempurpedic), we spent a <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/lazysunday?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#lazysunday</a> at <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/ColdStorage?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ColdStorage</a> beach on the bay side. A hidden gem, though wasn't thrilled with the obnoxious 'No Trespassing' signs posted by the beachfront property owners; we put our chairs within the confines of the town beach, but wandered far and wide at the water's edge. Would have been a perfect time except for shrieking kids (I'll give them a pass; it's the beach after all) and the constant aroma of cannabis from one group. I don't mind partaking occasionally, but damn, how much and how long can you smoke! We picked up tuna and swordfish steaks from the fish monger and prepared on the grill. <br>

More to come.<br>
