RileyYesterday, rushing around in the rain doing life admin, lost in an unfamiliar area, I was struck by the variety of wonderfully kind people who gave me clear, concise and funny responses to questions only truly local people would know the answers to. eg. short cuts, best places to go, things to avoid, etc. One tall man stood in a mysteriously long coat reading a thick hard-back book in a rainy parking lot. His directions provided the best and most entertaining visuals.
