Whereas, this is the lovely golden apple cider vinegar I made quite a few years ago. I still have maybe half a dozen beer bottles worth downstairs in the "cellar".
The vinegar was made from apple mash, and sugar, no added yeast (just used the naturally occurring yeast on the apple skins). Fermented until it was mildly alcoholic, then bottled with the mother.
It was a good day to wander down the grocery store condiment aisle and get some closeout mustards and sauces at 70% off! Also, is mustard a sauce?
The leaves are thin so it’ll probably shrink like cooked spinach, so I’m going to try to make it extra strong— it’ll be more of a #condiment than a side dish. I’m going to figure out how to use every single part of this amazing plant so people stop complaining that it “takes over your #garden.” #fermentation
