C.<p>You know what I love most about <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/CUPS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CUPS</span></a>?</p><p>The fact that it will just spontaneously break from time to time, without any changes being made, and requiring much jiggery-pokery, cursing, repeatedly deleting and recreating printer entries, cursing some more, sacrificing a black goat at midnight under a full moon, etc before it will work again.</p><p>Literally just happened to me, again, between 2 print jobs, less than a minute apart. Changed absolutely nothing, but the second one failed and the printer (in CUPS, not the actual printer itself) went into an unrecoverable state.</p><p>FFS.</p><p><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/printing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>printing</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/FFS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FFS</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/breakage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>breakage</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/broken" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>broken</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/buggy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>buggy</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/cursing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cursing</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/BlackMagic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BlackMagic</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/mandelbug" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mandelbug</span></a></p>
FiXato<p>I've been looking for more plates and such from this series of dinner ware, or at least a name for its series / manufacturer.<br>So far I've several of the square plates, a couple of the square 'bowls', and cups, and <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://snabelen.no/@Siiw" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>Siiw</span></a></span> recently found one of the rectangular serving plates for herself, but I'm curious if there's still others with this pattern.<br>I can't find any name or recognisable marking anywhere on them, and image recognition isn't very useful either. I found a couple more listings on FINN through it (though most already gone, or more than I think it's worth, and none nearby anyway), but none of them mention a name either.<br>I suspect it's from the late 90s, at least here in <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/Norway" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Norway</span></a>, though it might be older than that. </p><p><a href="https://toot.cat/tags/lookingFor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>lookingFor</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/fediFind" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fediFind</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/dinnerware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dinnerware</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/plates" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>plates</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/cups" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cups</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/servies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>servies</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/servis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>servis</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/Norwegian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Norwegian</span></a> <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/norsk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>norsk</span></a> ?</p>
