Lost (she/they)
Dungeon Crawler Carl was not over-hyped by my friends. Finished the first book in a day, and immediately started book two. Craving playing an MMO now, but not sure which game would strike a similar achievement unlocking itch. I also just got The Devils, Joe Abercrombie's latest book, on ebook, so I also need to read that too! #CurrentlyReading

Antonina_orthefallofrome📚 “I will not leave him in peace. I will not let him forget.”

👍 A beautiful girl, a brilliant mind, and the games played by Kings. This book takes a hard look at the power a woman wields while thinking herself a chess piece. The heartache is something to yearn for, because in yearning we truly live. The book is a huge departure for her. I’ve known of her for many years as a progressive firebrand who hosts the podcast #GaslitNation and in the past few years got too over the top even for me. I now know that she was absolutely and completely right. Anyway, The Great American Road Trip is a travelogue of sorts where she discusses car trips she has taken with her husband and two kids over the past few years. I’m only two chapters in and I’m totally captivated. No doubt this is in part due to the fact that I’ve yearned to go on a cross-country road trip all my adult life, and now I’m becoming sadly resigned to the notion that I’ll almost certainly never get to do it. I’d highly recommend.
