Rahul from DirecTV support was a complete waste of time. I let them know that I'd tried the channel on multiple devices and internet connections, and all the other channels were working fine—that's why I suspected an issue with the feed from KUNS-TV in Seattle.

Rather than investigate, they asked me to uninstall the app and do basic troubleshooting.

There needs to be a user certification that can be used to bypass the infantilizing tech support questions.

This is not too surprising given that linear television is pretty much dying, only besides those that still prefer live TV like my parents.

There is nothing appealing about live tv since the news networks are biased. Prefer watching stuff on demand, although I am paying for my parent's DirecTV Streaming bill in lieu of paying my cell phone and tablet data plan, which are cheaper on a family post paid plan than a prepaid one, what is pretty limited when it comes to data.

Kind of wish you would still get Japanese TV channels. You used to be able to get some Japanese channels through a Cable/Satellite or IPTV, but that seems to be gone now this year. I doubt they air anime on those, most likely JDramas, which I have been getting into lately.
