Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UK<p>A great deal of <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/LLM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LLM</span></a> and <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/AI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AI</span></a> is indeed hype and bullshit, but there's *many* basic <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/surveillance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>surveillance</span></a> tasks (mostly pattern matching, and monitoring deviations from normal behaviour) that basic algorithms can very easily process quicker than humans, and feed their findings to humans for such purposes as <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/traffic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>traffic</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/law" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>law</span></a> enforcement - already <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Australia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Australia</span></a> and <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/UK" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>UK</span></a> are working together on "AI" enabled <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/CCTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CCTV</span></a> cameras with <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/ANPR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ANPR</span></a> monitoring, that can detect not only <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/speeding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>speeding</span></a> but illegal use of <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/mobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mobile</span></a> phones and possible <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/DUI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DUI</span></a> or defective vehicles (such as where the driver is having difficulty staying in correct lane)</p>
