These two trees, a beech on the left, a walnut on the right have been objects of admiration for some time.
Yesterday, the sky was this gray.
Recalling this moment -
the cool air moving above and around,
through my nose, into my lungs, then back out
head upward - breathe, click, breathe.
Stating the obvious - all of this is a miracle.

Old #birch (betula pendula) with tree #fork in our field in winter. Holds the steep slope together with its roots. If you don't cut down trees, they grow and have a high ecological value. The #tree nourishes itself from the healthy #soil that surrounds it.

My photo from 2019 shows a #treetrunk in the #Berlin #winter, which has not fallen off all its dried #autumnleaves. In autumn, many #deciduous #trees cork the xylem connections of their leaves so that they do not evaporate more water than the tree can absorb through its roots. The #withered #fallenleaves serve as a #microhabitat for specialized #decomposing #soilorganisms. If old leaves remain on the tree, the organisms there will begin #decomposition processes.

It was a bit #stormy in #London yesterday. I used to the time to make make porridge for later and make a #flask of #herbal turmeric and #clove tea. Luckily we have an #evergreen bay #tree and #holly tree protecting us. I should go check that our #deciduous tree did not collapse …

The most beautiful, the most hopeful, the best...that you have experienced this week.
Whether the attributes you mentioned can be attributed to this #event or whether there was still an increase...I'll have to think about it. But the following experience was still somehow beautiful
.
At first, however, I was pretty pissed off. I'm always pissed off when people carelessly socialise their #civilisation waste, i.e. dispose of it in the area
. And it makes me particularly angry where? In #nature...in the #forest 
!
I could see the white glowing scrap of paper 
from far away. In a clear spot in the #deciduous forest, right next to a pole, which in retrospect turned out to be the remains of a tree.
I went there, picked up the note, in the shape of a square notepad, as they are - despite #digitisation - still often to be found. I was about to crumple it up and put it in my bag when I saw that it was written on. Well, I thought, let's see what important things were written there and disposed carelessly later in #nature.
So I read 
. And was surprised 
.
I took the note and stuck it in a crack of the weathered tree trunk
. Maybe someone would find it who was annoyed by carelessly discarded paper in the forest. And read it and then, like me, put it back in the gap on the tree with a smile 
.
I then immediately took some photos, who knows how I could use them....
