Galactic Man<p>A special post-retirement Deskbot today! My nom de guerre has expanded beyond this lowly account to become something of a secondary identity of late, so I decided to celebate by grabbing the Transformers Generations Selects release, <b>Galactic Man Shockwave</b>, that homaged Shockwave's ancient, pre-Transformers origins as the Astro Magnum/Spark Man/Galactic Man toy of legend. ​:decepticon:​<span><br><br>Photos below, and in the follow-up post.<br><br>As seems more common these days, I consider GM as his own bot rather than just grey Shockwave. But what personality would he have? Still coldly logical, more machine than robotic being? Another name for the toy was Spark Man. Sparks in TF lore are Souls, so...Soul Man? Is he a loose, jivving hepcat like Scatman Crothers or James "Spark Brother" Brown? He bears no insignia so what is his alignment, Chaotic Neutral? I think Ratchet wears the bot mode a little better due to the deco popping a little bit more but this defintetly makes good use of it. Plus the axe suits a warrior more than a medic. Also shotguns are cool.</p>
