@Shivviness I don't think we have to worry about Trump starting a nuclear war. He is too concerned about self-preservation for that.

There was one Republican presidential candidate who DID evoke realistic fears of a nuclear war: John "My fellow prisoners" McCain. He had been captured and held in Hanoi for years, and his brain was still back there. At times he had openly used anti-Asian racist slurs. A confrontation between China and a McCain-led USA could easily have gone nuclear. I voted for Obama in 2008 as the lesser evil vs. McCain, more than because I had any positive hopes about Obama.

Yet McCain would never have dreamed of trying to become a #dictator. Different set of issues vs. Trump.

So I'm starting to see the internal dependency (but erroneous thinking) of Stop the Steal and the Unitary Executive Theory. Stop the Steal provides an argument for Trump being the only "authentic" Executive worthy to be Unitary. Anyone else has stolen the election and isn't the authentic Executive.

I can see less of a straight up future civil war & more like when the Catholic church had multiple popes.

I heard last week on #MSNBC that many #Republican #Senators wanted to pass a bill that said the US is NOT in a state of emergency

Thus removing the Presidential tariff power

But, they knew Trump would VETO it AND the House would ⭕NOT over ride the veto, so the R Senators gave up

NOTE, there is NOT a state of emergency in the US ⭕ (at this time)
