bgrier 🇨🇦 🍁<p>A couple of weeks ago I started using Obsidian for note taking. Think OneNote, EverNote, etc, except everything is stored locally and in Markdown (light formatted txt document) so can be read by any simple text editor.</p><p>Not locked into any ecosystem or platform, yet the application is multiplatform. I'm finding it a great way to organize text, posts, tasks, reference information and the like. </p><p>Also a huge community and plugin development - want to integrate it into ToDoist? There's a plugin for that. </p><p>In some ways, it's deceivingly simple... all the power is kinda hidden behind a learning curve.
