When I originally bought Dragon Age: Origins - the Ultimate Edition during a Steam sale, I discovered that one of the DLC was missing. For some reason it was excluded for people in Singapore. I was bummed. So, a year or so later I saw it on sale on GoG and bought it. I played the fuck out of it.

Today, I discovered that my Steam version now also includes the missing DLC. I have two copies of the same pack, plus IIRC the standalone game, which I bought in 2010 or so.

New instance, new #Introduction post!

Here we go again...

I'm River, and I've booped around a few places here on the fediverse, currently hanging out with my friends @tiefling :diotima: and @VulpineDruid :vul: to chat about stuff and things.

I've been gaming since the heady days of OG #BaldursGate, and am currently obsessed with #BaldursGate3 and #DragonAge #TheVeilguard.

When I'm not gaming, I'm an academic #librarian, a practicing #witch and #Selunite, an occasional #writer and #poet and a general all-round nerdy type.

I'm also queer and trans, so I will post about #LGBTQ stuff, but I will content warn anything political.

You can find my blogging, fiction, poetry and stuff via the linktree in my bio.

Replaying #DragonAge: Origins, got to the Brecilian Forest and the codex entry about Fen'Harel the Dread Wolf. After having played the #Veilguard and knowing the other side of that story, I can really taste Solas' bitter resentment.

This has the feels of revisiting "Gone with the Wind" after the "The 1619 Project," or Soviet and Russian versions of history of #Belarus after Uladzimier Arlou's books.
