Facts about #TerahertzRadiation (1/2)

- By Terahertz Radiation we understand radio waves in the range from about 100 to 1000 THz.

- Terahertz Radiation is known to cause an #inflammatory reaction on the skin which in some cases can lead to skin #cancer.

- Excessive exposure to Terahertz Radiation can cause permanent eye damage and blindness. It happens frequently around #solar #eclipses.

- Terahertz Radiation is primarily created in nuclear #fusion reactors. Most of us live within 8 minutes of a Terahertz Radiation emitting reactor.

- The surface of such a Terahertz Radiation emitting #reactor is actually so hot that your whole body would burn up instantly if you were to touch it.

- Due to the immense danger it poses to humans and the environment, the #European Union and the state of #California have actually banned the sale of a, sadly, commonly deployed device emitting Terahertz Radiation.

- Pulsed Terahertz Radiation is a common cause of #headaches in humans and animals, and can in some causes even lead to grand mal #seizures.

- Terahertz Radiation is known to cause #wildfires

- The Ancient #Greek are said to have already used Terahertz Radiation to fight off their enemies.

USA TODAY · Will you see the total lunar eclipse this month? Here's when it is and how to watchBy Eric Lagatta

Passages: Reflections on 2024
All years are passages between what was and what is yet to come. Usually, the transitions are subtle and incremental, hardly noticeable. But certain events signal a major crossing into something new. 2024 was one of those times, a bridge between distinct phases of my life. This essay reflects on the year with selected photos that I made in 2024 (and one from an earlier year).

Some preliminary pre-alpha research into one basic question: Are reports of #UFO / #UAP, or possible #TimeTraveler #sightings, more common around a #TotalLunarEclipse (#TLE), which is when we celebrate the #KrononautMoon? This would be the expectation in #future years, but what about in #past years? Data comes from:

Following are dates of the first cycle of 3 #TLEs (we are not including #partial #eclipses) in 2000-2001. Figuring out times and locations is complicated, so we are simply starting out with the first 3 #TLE dates, plus UFO / UAP sightings on the night before and the night after. #Towns listed are mostly in the #USA unless shown in (parentheses).

The Celebration (and Experimentation and Observation) of the #KrononautMoon invites #TimeTravelers to show up or send a #signal to #Earth on the #TotalLunarEclipse (#TLE). Ancient #Babylonian texts may be accurate in some deadly #omen cases, but it's important to differentiate that there are three major classes of #Lunar #Eclipses, of which "total" is only one — occuring on an apparently eccentric (to us) schedule of approx once per year, next up on 14 Mar 2025.

TIL from #WaitButWhy "Earthlings are very lucky, eclipse-wise. Most planets don’t have a big enough moon to create a total solar eclipse. Not only is our moon big enough, it’s about exactly the size of the sun in our night sky because, by sheer coincidence, the #sun is about 400 times farther from us than the #moon and also about 400 times bigger than the moon in diameter—making our #eclipses especially breathtaking." waitbutwhy.com/2024/04/eclipse
