Heather Evans<p>Good morning tooters. It was a 3c start today with a zero feels like! Rain is coming apparently but it’s a beautiful blue sky outside this morning &amp; we’re heading to 19c. <br>Still having moments of vertigo when I lie down &amp; my sleep was again disturbed. I’m definitely out of sorts now that I’m home for some reason. Last night again as I was dropping off to sleep I jerked awake thinking someone was there in my room. I think after Chiltern I’ll book a remedial massage. Today though I’m going to take myself off for a walk. Make a couple of meals to add to the freezer &amp; to take to Chiltern with me &amp; drop in to see my sister considering it’s been a month. Heather Evans<p>Satisfied with my day. Awesome Balance class this morning. I’ve fed my sourdough starter &amp; my Kefir. The milk around the Kefir grains was very thick like yoghurt &amp; as I decanted it I didn’t think &amp; binned it. Then tasted a little that was left in the jar &amp; it was quite mild tasting. Saying that, I could still taste my toothpaste. So to see if it is more like a yoghurt that I can use - when I get back from Chiltern I’ll only take out some of the grains &amp; add a little extra milk then just leave the rest in the fridge as a test. <br>My lawns are done &amp; some of the gardening. My green bin is very full now though. I’ve given the birdbath a good clean &amp; refilled it with fresh water. I also noticed that my Silverbeet out the back has gone crazy. It only had a few leaves on it when I left, now it’s huge. Heather Evans<p>Good morning tooting friends. Quite the chilly start for my first morning home. It was around 2c at around 6.30am &amp; is very damp outside, currently around 7c but heading to a lovely sunny 18c. It does mean that lawn mowing will wait until after lunch &amp; things are drier, lots to do outside, weeds are wild 😃. First up though a Balance class, missed my formal exercise so much. <br>I went to bed quite early last night &amp; over the previous 2 nights I’ve had moments of vertigo while lying in bed. Last night was the worst &amp; weird. I was close to dozing off &amp; turned over, started with the head spinning but also feeling that I wasn’t at home &amp; I didn’t know where I was! I sat up quickly as I was freaking out &amp; made myself more dizzy so of course was then wide awake again. I know why considering since Saturday night I’ve slept in 3 different beds &amp; had a massive drive &amp; all exacerbated by the vertigo. Funnily after I settled again I slept really quite well. I do hope that the vertigo doesn’t start to become a thing again 🤞🏼. <br>Went outside in the early morning to get some fresh air &amp; my little peach tree is in full bloom &amp; I was going to take it out 😬 - how can I resist that beauty though. Also the daffodil bulbs I bought at the flower show a few months ago have also bloomed. There was only 4 &amp; I planted them all in different areas to see where was best. As some of you may remember, the day things went "big ouch!", I even shared the post Carefully optimistic 💜 with you all. And, as some of you will also know, I've suffered the biggest trauma and loss during that week that I've ever had to deal with. It knocked the wind out of my sails, as they say to beautifully... I struggled with immense pain. The traumatic event had be struggling, scared to do anything for the fear of doing it wrong, and I was just broken. Then my biggest soulmate had gotten too ill and she had to leave my side, leaving me alone to deal with all the fears and pain, and adding more pain, feelings of guilt, and starting an immense grieving period (which still hasn't ended). 💔 So, I have to admit, part of my motivation got drowned by all of these emotions. But... I had also promised Arwen that I would not give up, and I would never want to disappoint her, not even after death.
