It has been two weeks since a #Georgia woman was arrested for her #miscarriage, & not one major national #outlet has covered the story.

If there's any good news to take from all this it's that there's no longer any doubt that #neoliberalism is dead.

#Neoliberalism leads to internally untenable levels of #inequality such that it ultimately gives way to either fascism or #socialism. The Democratic Party did its best to make sure socialism would never appear to be a real alternative. As a consequence, we're now getting the fascism treatment.

Being a #leftist in #America feels like showing up to #English class having done the reading, but being forced to listen to kid after kid who didn’t read the book try to sound like they read the book.

& you know they haven’t read the book, because you did.

Anyway, “the book” is history.

You need to read #theory. It's essential that you read theory. If you want to have an understanding, there's no replacing the words they wrote themselves. It's not glamorous, & at times, it feels like homework.

But the feeling of #liberation you feel once everything clicks.
