A FFXIV Moogle, who has fallen asleep (yes, (s)he's asleep) near a campfire after food.

To the uninitiated...a Moogle is like two giant, white, fluffy marshmallows - one on top of the other - with a stick of pink candyfloss jabbed into its head, that flies around on tiny bat wings.

They have eyes, but they're always shut.

Twelve know why.

My "second main" in #FFXIV has reached Moghome, which has given me my first proper look at Kan-E-Senna since the avatar update. They've done a beautiful job of her, but I feel like she looks younger than before it.

IIRC, she's supposed to be ~18-20yo ish? I got that vibe before the avatar update, but not so much now. It might be just because I'm older and look it and, because she's a non-physically-aging race, the perceived gap is bigger?

Today (08Jun25) in #FFXIV, we wrapped up our #Hildibrand Adventures with the lvl. 50 #quest lines. The #Battle in the Big Keep was very fun and the #music was likewise thrilling. This wraps up the series until I move past #ARR. Next playthrough we will continue with post-ARR #MSQ. Will reach #Heavensward eventually!

FF14 has returned to my queue in a big way.

I ended today with a good split #FFXIV session:

1. Did a few roulettes to earn red tomes towards materials I need to craft the Ceremonial set.

2. Progressed a Cosmic Tool by a level.

And that's another day survived. "Tomorrow" I need to do some fiction writing and woodwork.

But first, meds and sleep.

I'm not sure there's a thing as a "nice, lovely Origenics run", but this was not it. My Rezmage ability was needed (while I was conscious)...I really struggle with that first boss.

But I had another weird issue, my FPS was stable at 60, but there were definite movement glitches (not relating to intentional glitch effects) or stutters.

I don't have much else running in the background.
~30% CPU usage
~70% GPU usage
~33% Ram Usage

Anyone got ideas what could have caused it?

Just a random group shot in the FF14 Origenics dungeon. There aren't exactly convenient stop-offs in this one.

So hey, the Scions of the Seven Dawn, basically, the hero's group, the main character's space? It has fifteen members. Of those fifteen, two aren't represented on any cards, Minfilia and Moenbreyda, women the story introduced to kill off after doing nothing, one of FFXIV's common problems.

Morning Folks! I used to think that Housing Savage was the hardest boss in #FFXIV... but it turns out that no... having to deal with the awkward 90s era financial processing systems was way worse when my credit card expired.
