A couple of interesting things when finding interesting ways to break Final Fantasy II (US) for the Super Nintendo:
* If young Rydia is leveled up well beyond the normal means before you meet up with her again in the Underground, her black magic spells can get duplicated and spill over into the list of summons
* If Edge has incredibly high stats and has his default equipment modified with high defense and magic defense, the scripted battle with Rubicant ends up in an infinite loop due to Rubicant's attack not taking out Edge and Edge's attack heals Rubicant
* With the walk through walls cheat code enabled, I was able to cause the color pallete for Dr. Lugae to glitch out that causes his sprite to turn orange when you trigger his script
* Walking through walls in either phase of the Tower of Babil and trying to exit the tower through a door from the other phase (or through the back of the crystal room), the game warps you into unintended areas of memory. You end up with interesting or corrupted maps and walking out of bounds will crash the game
* Walking through walls and out of bounds in the Giant of Babil allows you to escape outside. If you take the Big Whale back to the Moon, it will trigger the Giant emerging scene again. When you get back into the Giant and escape again, you will be stuck on the planet because the Giant Whale is still back on the Moon 
* If you modify a character to allow them to cast the enemy attack "Alert" during a battle when there isn't an enemy that can summon or materialize another, you will end up softlocking the game as it thinks there is still another enemy, but the game will either not give you an opportunity to target the enemy or it will automatically skip players' turns
Proud enough to have found a way around this monster, which is capable of killing my characters in two moves 
Otherwise, it's a real nightmare 
I'm repeating myself, but the PSP version of Final Fantasy IV is gorgeous
