I didn't know it would use the Nest devices around my house to show what room of my home the tracker is located. </p><p>I finally got my Chipolo One Spot trackers a few days ago, and now I have completely ditched <a href="https://twit.social/tags/Tile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Tile</span></a>. I have become increasingly annoyed with Tile because of their disposable products and monthly subscription. </p><p>We'll see how things go with Google. So far I am pleased.</p>

First impressions: yep, it’s a little Bluetooth item tracker. 😁</p><p>Interestingly, it has a button just like the standard Chipolo ONE, but it doesn’t do anything after the initial pairing. No ring-your-phone feature or anything… I wonder if that’s something Google will add to the Find My Device network/spec later? I have been holding out on purchasing any of the new <a href="https://twit.social/tags/FindMyDevice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FindMyDevice</span></a> Network trackers because my <a href="https://twit.social/tags/Pixel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Pixel</span></a> 7 has not gotten access, but apparently, upon setting up the tracker you are given access to the new FMD network if you don't already have it. </p><p>I've been very eager to switch over from <a href="https://twit.social/tags/Tile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Tile</span></a> and get rid of the $3 monthly subscription.
