I'm rewatching Castle in this Heat Wave (get it? ) and I just love this exchange from season 2 episode 6, which aired in 2009. The Firefly movie is from 2005.
Alexis: Hey.
Castle: Hey. I was … I was just … trying on my Halloween costume.
Alexis: What exactly are you supposed to be?
Castle: Space cowboy!
Alexis: Ok. A: there are no cows in space. B: didn't you wear that like five years ago?
Castle: So?
Alexis: So, don't you think you should move on?
Castle: I like it.
Firefly friend.
@pieceofthepie I should watch it again...#Firefly excellent series.. . Periodically I day dream on how I would reboot the series ( do it for lots of deceased shows) .... Mal's son would be my way forward
I know I need to hear this from time to time and I'm pretty sure some of you might too.
From the Firefly episode: The Message
Tracey: When you can't run, you crawl, and when you can't crawl - when you can't do that...
Zoë: You find someone to carry you.
tell-tale trail of a j-shaped flash pattern. Hence the common name “big dipper firefly”. Their twilight glow and flashing light can look quite magical!

Weird relief,
I have sworn off collectibles in what we affectionately refer to as the no plastic unless its on a spool rule.
thought this link was gonna make me break it, but alas they left off Mal's #browncoat.
It should be noted however, I would never return a Wash shaped gift.

New edition of fireflies coming soon!
This #linocut block print shows 3 fireflies (Photinus pyralis, the common eastern firefly or big dipper firefly) in a field against the night sky. These bioluminescent insects are the most common firefly in N America, & they use the light organ on their abdomen to signal potential mates leaving their tell-tale trail of a j-shaped flash pattern. Hence the common name “big dipper firefly”.

When you're ripping your collection of Firefly DVDs to get them off the shelf to make room (and make it easier to watch them without flipping discs).
A 15 second exposure of my field around sunset with the camera resting on a bucket trying to capture the fireflies. I'm going to try again when its darker; I guess it counts as #sliceoflife
