A little less than a month until #24HoursOfLemons at Gingerman and our car is nearly race ready ahead of schedule

Over the winter we have dropped the fuel tank to secure our harnesses properly to the chassis, fabricated some missing brackets, lots of tap and die action so everything torqued to spec

We just need to finish up our new switch board and our Honda #fitposting will be race ready

@tikibunnyimports this little red Honda #fitposting is probably my biggest automotive achievement

We tried cashing the Honda Reliability check multiple times in 2024 and it bounced each time

Through the non-stop struggleswe still raced the little red bastard and it gave all of our drivers full length race stint

Honestly the antics we will get up to with this car in 2025 is what's keeping me sane

InstagramKing Motorsports Unlimited on Instagram: "One of the wildest Fit concepts ever created was unveiled at the 2004 Tokyo Auto Salon: the Honda Mugen Fit Dynamite Experimental Concept. The Fit Dynamite was a testament to Mugen’s engineering prowess. They took the standard Fit, equipped with a 1.3 or 1.5-liter engine, and replaced it with a tuned K20A engine, the same powerplant found in the EP3 Civic Type R and DC5 Integra Type R. This engine, known for its robust performance, delivered 217 horsepower and 206 Nm of torque in its stock configuration. In the Integra, it could propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.8 seconds. Mugen didn’t stop there. They further enhanced the engine, pushing its output to an impressive 260 horsepower without the aid of forced induction. This all-motor tuning approach was a testament to Mugen’s engineering expertise. To complement the engine, the Fit Dynamite also received the Type R’s six-speed manual transmission. While the Fit Dynamite remained a one-off concept, it sparked a desire for a “Fit Type R.” Unfortunately, Honda never brought this concept to fruition, likely due to concerns about cannibalizing sales from their higher-performance models like the Civic and Integra Type R. However, with the current Civic Type R approaching the size of an Accord, we wish there would have been a Fit Type R concept that was made, maybe with the 200-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter engine from the North American Civic Si. #Mugen #FitDynamite #TokyoAutoSalon #K20A #Performance #Tuning #KingMotorsports #FitDynamite #TokyoAutoSalon #K20A #Performance #Tuning #honda #fit #jazz #hondafit #mugenfit #mugendynamite #civic #itr #typer #types #integra"8,517 likes, 36 comments - kingmotorsports on December 30, 2024: "One of the wildest Fit concepts ever created was unveiled at the 2004 Tokyo Auto Salon: the Honda Mugen Fit Dynamite Experimental Concept. Strut install took about an hour and a half this morning, and I took the car to get aligned after lunch. We are roadworthy again!

While I was waiting on the alignment, I took a walk around Alameda, which is kind of a weird car paradise. Found a fun Ford truck/Squareback twofer; a six-wheeled Pinzgauer for @vwdasher; and a something-for-everyone house with a Mercury Comet, an AMX, a Fit (#FitPosting ), and a vintage Land Cruiser 40. #WeirdCarMastodon
